Position available -
Full-time Research Assistant or Research Associate (starting from Jan 2022 or earlier).
The research assistant will use functional genetic and biochemical tools to study signaling pathways that regulate drug responses to cancer therapeutics and to identify novel drug targets.
Performing and analyzing functional genetic screens (shRNA, cDNA, CRISPR)
Assisting with Clone Service; Generating and isolating DNA constructs
Conducting in vitro experiments using diverse cancer cell lines
Retroviral, lentiviral transduction
Cell proliferation/drug response assays,
Western Blots, IP, IF, qRT-PCR, FACS & other Molecular Biology/Biochemistry assays
Assisting in vivo animal experiments
Taking care of other routine lab tasks
MSc or PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or related field
Previous research experience in above disciplines or related field
Solid experience in cell tissue culture and molecular biology
Knowledge of commend line, data processing and statistical analysis
Publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals
Self-motivated and excellent team player
Experience in functional genetic screening and animal handling is a plus
Excellent written and communication skills in English
